First off, I wanna say that I got my crock pot that I ordered from CSN over spring break. For those of you who forgot...I WON a $30 CSN store gift care, from Mrs. H blog give away. Tonight I made my first meal in it and OH-MY-GOODNESS, it was scrumptious.
I made my boyfriend's Mom's famous crock-pot lasagna! I don't know what I was thinking making this all for myself, because I have a whole BIG bowl of extras. But that's ok, I can eat this everyday...and I might just have to before it goes bad :)
No more food talking for me, I'm getting hungry again.
I started my last spring quarter of college on Monday and let me tell you, I might not make it til June. I am taking 5 courses, which I did last quarter and wasn't bad at all. I actually got a 3.45 last quarter! (GO ME!) But, I can tell this quarter is going to be different. It's going to be a LONG 10 weeks!
I also nanny a precious baby girl a couple times a week. Her mommy was planning to start her at daycare sometime in the near future. But, I just got news that the daycare pushed her start date to June 1st. Her Mommy wants to start back part-time at her job. I scheduled my classes in case she needed me this quarter and I'm glad I did because I'll be making money, it's just going to be a busy, busy, BUSY quarter for me. Take a look yourself.
Think I have enough on my plate for the next couple weeks?
Since I'm an elementary ed major, the majority of my classes require clinical/observational hours. I have 2 night classes this quarter and BOTH of them require 10 hours of clinical work, that is 20 extra hours I have to find in my schedule to go to a school and observe. Times like these is when I wish I had a twin, or even better, an instant transporter. I have been struggling this week just getting everything organized, put in the right folder, getting project due dates written in my planner and readings done.
Hopefully, next week I'll be less stressed. I'm just taking it day by day. Anyone have any time saving strategies for a schedule like mine? Or how I can feel more organized day-to-day? I have been looking online at different daily planners, but not sure if it's worth it. Any suggestions on day-to-day planner with a to-do list included.
On the bright side of things...
And the only thing getting me through this quarter...
is.....
